‘Kashmir Connects & Learns’ is a Volunteer based educational initiative that aims to impart knowhow of cutting edge Information Technology concepts (e.g. Generative AI, Machine Learning, SRE etc) and capabilities to the global student ecosystem. The goal is to connect students with their counterpart’s across the Globe & build capabilities enabling then to better understand the current technologies used to build the latest and the greatest products. This initiative is open to anyone across the globe who is interested to join and meets the entry criterion.

The challenge that students face today is the complexity of making sense of the vast amount of information available online, a lot of which is not relevant to a budding professional. Without the right guidance or mentorship it is an uphill task to effectively use this information for finding a footing and plan for their future goals.

This community service initiative has been conceptualised by a Kashmiri couple based out of Germany, with a goal of sharing their deep technological knowhow to students without any financial burden. By eschewing monetary barriers, this initiative aspires to empower the younger generation with cutting edge technological skills and knowledge, thereby bridging educational disparities.

Please Note :

  1. The workshops will always be completely free for everyone joining these workshops, but you will need to have the necessary equipment (laptop / desktop) & internet connectivity required to join the session & work on the Labs.

  2. Willingness to work hard and put in efforts to learn is very important for you to get the maximum benefit from the program.

  3. This program is predominantly aimed at students pursuing education in a computer science field (e.g. ME, BE, MCA, BCA etc), or else students with good self acquired knowledge of these concepts.

  2. The only intention of the initiative is to enable students to get acquainted with ‘tip of the sphere’ technologies; we are NOT providing any career coaching or any other related services. The workshops will be free for everyone joining these workshops, and you will need to have the necessary equipment / connectivity to join the session on the Google Meet links provided in the scheduling pages.   

  3. Kindly note the no of people able to join the workshop would be limited so request you to only join the workshops if you are willing to put in the hard work, have genuine interest in the topic of the workshop, have the work ethic to do self study and have the passion to learn new technologies.   

  4. The workshops would be sequential in nature and would on the topics discussed in the previous sessions, so please try to join all the sessions if you want to get the full value from the workshops.

  5. The workshops will be conducted in English

Knowledge sharing methodology.

We will be organising the knowledge sharing sessions into different series; each series will consist of multiple sessions be led by an expert from the relevant field. The sessions would be a mix of theoretical concepts and practical demonstrations wherever needed.
